The tools we use—and their limits
Here is what each tool does, how results are labeled, and what they cannot tell you.
What each part does
| Part | Role | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| BioVitality | Our method, guidance, reports and your client relationship. | Non-medical wellness education, accountability and progress tracking. |
| Energy 4 Life Energetic | Remote bioenergetic scan at the heart of every Vitality Analysis; your energetic reading and monthly baseline. | Wellness information only; not a validated measure of disease, nutrient status, organ function or strength. Shown separately from physical measurements. |
| VALD DynaMo Plus Measured | Strength (force) and range-of-motion testing using defined protocols. Each result records the test, unit, side, position, date, assessor and device. | Does not diagnose disease or injury, and does not by itself measure every aspect of agility, balance or independence. |
| Fit3D body scan Estimated | Body shape and dimensions, plus algorithm-derived body-composition estimates. | Measured dimensions are shown separately from estimated fat and lean mass. Not equivalent to DEXA. |
| Thera Wellness Vitalyzer Energetic | A relaxing, non-invasive bioenergetic wellness session in our studio (about 20 minutes). | Not a medical test; does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Shown separately from physical measurements. |
| Self-report Self-reported | Energy, sleep, stress, habits, activity and perceived vitality, including the free score. | Always labeled self-reported; never shown as verified physiology. |
Manufacturer descriptions explain what a product does; they are not evidence of any particular result for you. VALD, DynaMo, Fit3D, Energy 4 Life, Thera Wellness and Vitalyzer are trademarks of their owners. BioVitality is not affiliated with or endorsed by equipment makers.
How we keep comparisons fair
- Re-tests use the same test position, side and protocol, so left is never compared with right and different positions are never mixed.
- Missing results show as “not measured”—never as zero.
- We show your baseline, latest result, date and absolute change. Small changes may reflect normal measurement variation, so not every increase is labeled an improvement.
- No invented composite “health score” from physical tests, and no red/green health labels.
Results depend on the method, testing conditions, and other factors. Body-composition values are estimates where indicated. Comparisons are most useful when collected using consistent methods.
